Privacy policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

Clear numbers.Human decisions.
Replaces the current policy, which must come down immediately. The live version on goldenrisecapital.com names "Loan Surface, Inc." throughout — another company's template that was never updated. As a financial institution you also owe a Gramm-Leach-Bliley privacy notice, and California residents have CCPA/CPRA rights that need their own section. The structure below is correct; the language needs counsel.

What we collect

Information you give us: name, address, email, phone, date of birth, Social Security number, income, employment, and details of your debts. Information we collect automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and referring source. Information from third parties: credit report data from consumer reporting agencies, which we obtain with your authorization.

How we use it

To assess your situation and present options; to underwrite, originate, and service loans; to refer you to a debt relief program administrator where appropriate; to communicate with you about your inquiry and accounts; to comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and to detect and prevent fraud.

How we share it

With debt relief program administrators when you ask us to evaluate or enroll you in a program; with service providers who work on our behalf under contract; with consumer reporting agencies; and as required by law, subpoena, or regulatory examination.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. Confirm this statement matches actual practice before publishing — if lead data is shared with partners for marketing, this section and the GLBA notice must say so and offer an opt-out.

Your choices and rights

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by emailing [email protected], calling 877-552-9771, replying STOP to any text, or using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, request a copy, request correction or deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and the right to limit use of sensitive personal information. Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia) have similar rights under their respective state laws, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising. Counsel to confirm this list and language against current state law before launch.

Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Sensitive data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to personnel who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide services and to meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations — generally seven years after your last interaction with us.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some functionality. We may use third-party advertising and analytics tools, such as conversion pixels from Google, Meta, or similar platforms, to measure marketing performance. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through those platforms’ tools or via industry opt-out pages such as optout.aboutads.info. Confirm this matches which pixels are actually in use before launch.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the revised version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Questions: [email protected], 877-552-9771, or 2081 Business Center Drive #285, Irvine, CA 92612.
